Personally I'm of mixed feelings on it as I don't exactly like the new character sprites(though they stand out okay on a widescreen? at least the contrast do make them more visible if it means anything). One thing "new" that wasn't even in the mobile version is elements of the graphics.
Same for monsters medals being exclusive to the GBC. Pachisi is the biggest omission but the Switch version is based off the mobile versions which are based on the original SNES which was where the thief class and the likes were included but before the pachisi which used to be exclusive to the GBC version. Personalities are in, first of the bonuses dungeons as well.
